personal immigration

My in-laws have just moved to Israel, with my husband's grandfather, who's 85. Wow! It was tough enough moving when you're 14, but 85? That's really hard. I hope things work out for all three of them. They are all retired now, so what they need is some new friends, and something to do. What does one do in Beer-Sheva if you're a pensioner from Russia? Hope there is something. There's definitely not much to do if you're younger.

Ahmadinejad's got a blog, so why not me?

There was an article in the "New York Times" recently about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's blog. Check it out, it's a sight to behold. Especially interesting are the comments visitors leave: "Mr. President, good for you, standing up to the bullies of the world." Or "you are truly a man of peace." Yeah, that's just what the world needs: more people like him, and world peace will be a cinch.
